Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration breakfast, hosted by the Houston
Chapter of Black Merthodists for Church Renewal. Everyone is invited to
fellowship together at 8:30 a.m. on Monday, January 16, at Bethany UMC,
3511 Linkwood in Houston, where Dr. Francis E.W. Guidry is pastor. The
featured speaker is Rev. Dr. Lydia Jackson Waters of Dallas.

GRIEF SUPPORT GROUP BEGINS JANUARY 10 at St. Paul's UMC
Living with Loss is a supportive opportunity to share grief experiences
and re-examine spirituality in the wake of loss.This grief support
group will meet six consecutive Tuesday nights from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at St.
Paul's Umc, beginning January 10, 2006.
