Klein UMC -
Dr. David Lowes Watson will be presenting a lecture on Covenant
Discipleship on March 4th from 9:30am-Noon. If you have considered a small
group ministry in your church, but have not been sure where to start, Dr.
Watson will be discussing how John Wesley established small group
societies during the initial phases of the Methodist movement and how
Wesley's model can be used in our churches today.
A light breakfast will be served, and all are welcome to attend.

sure to offer something for everyone.
The 2005-2006 choral season represents a milestone in the unmatched

Anniversary of local, regional, national and international performances. The
choir’s fine singing, showmanship, character and visual appeal make this a
concert you don’t want to miss.

to help defray the choir’s travel costs). For more information please

281-216-4967.

FROM Rev. Peter J. Cammarano, First UMC - Brazoria, TX -
CALLS FOR ASSISTANCE
The call comes late at night from Florida or another state. The caller
is polite and mentions that he and his family have been in your church
recently. He mentions names, roads, landmarks enough to make you think
he knows your community. Then tells a story of a trip, a death in the
familiy, a broken down car and a need for bus fare. He gives an exact
amount needed and a phone mumber to wire the money. Sound familiar?
This scam is still going on. Peter Cammarano and Scott McKay are
researching this story for an article and would like to hear from others who
have had this same
experience. Email us at or
jscottmckay@sbcglobal.net.
