Condolences

Please remember the following Texas Conference families in their time of bereavement:

Versie B. Lister, Rev. Regina Greenwood's mother died Monday, September 11. Rev. Greenwood is married to Rev.Otis Greenwood. Services are pending at this time.

Mrs. Mimi Nichols, retired diaconal died Friday, August 25.

Rev. Cecil Harper, retired elder died Thursday, August 31. Service will be Saturday, September 23, First UMC, Bullard.

Rev. James McCullar, retired elder died Friday, September 1.

Dale Karaff, husband of Betty Karaff (retired UMC church secretary, Beaumont area) died suddenly Saturday, August 26. Funeral service was August 30, First UMC, Beaumont. Cards may be sent to P.O. Rev. Allison Byerley's niece, Brittany Watters, admitted to Town & Country Hospital , severe eye infection and dehydration.

Stewart Memorial UMC thanks everyone for your prayers on behalf of Susie Teddlie. She has been to church the last two Sundays and is gaining in strength. Praise God for the healing she has received.

Rev. Joe Cortinas' (Beneke UMC & Hispanic Director, CS District) father was moved to hospice last Friday. He is not doing well and they have called the family in.

Emma Sloan Thomas, born to Rev. Matt (Fannett Faith) & Renae Thomas, Monday, September 11, St. Elizabeth Hospital, Beaumont, 9 lbs., 4 oz., 20 1/2 inches long. Mom and baby doing well.
